Mutants. Since the discovery of their existence they have been regarded with fear, suspicion, often hatred. Across the planet, debate rages. Are mutants the next link in the evolutionary chain or simply a new species of humanity fighting for their share of the world? Either way it is a historical fact: Sharing the world has never been humanity’s defining attribute. (Charles Xavier, X-2)

Okay I just have to rant. Nothing irritates me more than when I’m going through the tags on tumblr here and I see someone has not only reuploaded a graphic and/or animation that I’ve made, but they don’t even bother to give me credit for it. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m all for sharing. I put things out here because I don’t mind people using them at all. When I post photos I completely expect to have others reupload them and make their own graphic designs with them and I think that’s totally fine. I’m all for that and that’s not at all what I’m talking about. What I’m referring to is when people simply take an animation (or in some cases a graphic/photo edit) that I’ve put together and instead of reblogging it, they upload it as if it’s their own material without so much as a credit in naming me as the source of the person who made it. That just grates on my nerves. As I said I’m VERY easygoing, but if I’m going to take the time to make something the very least I ask for is for someone to give me credit for it. I know that in this day in age there are a lot of cases where people are in a rush and have no patience, but honestly does it really take more time to either hit the reblog button or simply add my name as a credit to my work then it does to reupload the photos? I think not! Sigh…I know once you put something on the net it’s fair game, but I still think it sucks when someone puts time and energy into something to share it with others and that happens. Not cool!

30 Day Crush - Day 27 - Other Species/Alien Crush - While I know X-Men are technically an evolved species of human, I think that it works :)
30 Days of X-Men Movie Challenge - Day 30 - Favorite X-Men Movie - X-Men (2000) For me there’s nothing like the original simply because it started a new wave of enthusiasm for the franchise and really brought home the series.
30 Day Crush - Day 22 - Antihero/Badass Crush - Wolverine, X-Men
